10 Years and Going Strong!

We here at Chris's Squirrels & More, LLC are approaching our 10th year anniversary! In the beginning, Chris's Squirrels & More was a website created for the purpose of providing information to squirrel rehabilitators and also to offer a gift line to squirrel lovers. The gift line was intended to help raise money for the many injured and orphaned animals that we care for. Over time, we realized the need for hard-to-find wildlife rehabilitation supplies at discounted prices. We wanted to help other rehabilitators and animal rescue groups save money on their much-needed and hard-to-find specialty items in a convenient "one-stop-shopping" atmosphere. We are very proud of the fact that we have done exactly that!

We are in the process of making our website more informative for both new and experienced rehabilitators. One way we will be doing this is by showing, on our site, case studies of animals that we have cared for. Also, we have added a special section to the site designed specifically to help people when they find an orphaned squirrel. A great deal of this information will also be applicable for use on other mammals. Here, the information is always free! Chris's Squirrels & More was created for the welfare of the animals and that purpose will never change!

Licensed and Qualified...

My name is Christina Clark and I am the owner and creator of Chris's Squirrels & More, LLC, formerly called The Squirrel Store.  I am a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in the state of Connecticut and have been so since 1995. I am a member of NWRA, IWRC and CWRA. My goals have always been to raise and release all injured and orphaned wildlife and the majority of my time has been spent doing so, even though I now stick to my "specialty" - squirrels. I would like to thank my customers for their support, many of whom have become very good friends, and for helping to make our ongoing rehabilitation possible.  Thanks to you all, Chris's Squirrels & More is currently a great site and highly valuable resourse for other rehabilitators.

Please Note Our Name Change!

In March of 2005 we underwent a name change. Our prior name was The Squirrel Store. However, due to some confusion and the mixing up of our site with others of similar sounding names, we changed our name to Chris's Squirrels & More, LLC. Another factor contributing to the switch was the fact that we wanted to inform our customers that we were no longer just about squirrels, but many other species of native wildlife as well. Nothing else has change but our name. The business still has the same owner, the same great prices, the same toll free number and, best of all, the same great customer service! Our new domain name is www.squirrelsandmore.com.
