Ideally, a Dremel is the best choice for use on malocclusion squirrels, but this is not possible for most rehabilitators. The medium-sized cutters are recommended for adult squirrels while the micro-sized are more suitable for babies; however, the medium-sized cutters can be used for both. Squirrels & More strongly advises that you only clip the teeth of squirrels with malocclusion and/or following the advice of a veterinarian. Clipping teeth on any rodent is only recommended when dental issues are a problem and not meant for maintenance of normal healthy teeth.
